Tânia Dinis' relationship with image is closely linked to photography. Starting from her own family archive and also using found images, the director, actress and visual artist plays with superimposition, cut-outs and sound backdrops to create stories and narrative lines that are both independent and related to the original objects. This working method has resulted in artistic pieces in various formats, from films to exhibitions, from performance to staging.

At Batalha, Tânia Dinis presents a session about the women close to her, made up of films that are interconnected and culminate in a performance about family memories.
