Batalha regularly presents a series of sessions designed for children and adults. In these sessions, which include a presentation and a talk at the end, we challenge families (both formal and emotional) to build a fun and personal relationship with the moving image that will accompany them through the different stages of their lives.

In dialogue with the thematic cycle Mythologies: Sacred Places, Mythical Times, in December we present Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds, a fantasy film that takes two sisters on an adventure to meet the strong God of the Winds. In January, we present Sun & Daughter, a story about growth and ancestry, through which we discover the mysteries of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. The Christmas special focuses on the idea of peace and how we can contribute to its conservation despite the fear that may arise. We also feature the classic The Iron Giant, by Brad Bird, based on the book of the same name by Ted Hughes. In January, looking at the retrospective dedicated to Alice Rohrwacher, we'll be showing three films by director Yuri Norstein, including Tale of Tales, the Italian filmmaker's favorite work.
