The result of an artistic residency developed by Brazilian artist Jonathas de Andrade in Porto at the invitation of Batalha, this project involved research and dialog with associations and groups in the city, namely the Associação Columbófila do Distrito do Porto and Rádio da Associação dos Moradores da Bouça.

The exhibition includes Columbófilos, which reflects on generational changes by exploring the unique relationship between humans and pigeons — pigeon fanciers and birds interact in front of the camera before the apotheotic moment of release. This is first film that Jonathas de Andrade — one of the most important artists of his generation — has shot outside Brazil, the country he represented at the 2022 Venice Biennale.
