Porto, Texas is a cinephilia group that brings together people who love cinema so much that they want to experience it outside the screening room! Through relaxed meetings, we promote the gathering of cinema aficionados in a space favourable to the exchange of ideas, opinions and experiences. We share texts, music and films; we encourage debates and conversations that create a critical relationship with cinema. Porto, Texas is aimed at a general audience, regardless of their background or level of knowledge of cinema. The third edition is coordinated by Francisca Camelo, poet and diseuse, and Renato Cabral, film critic and researcher.
