Family Film Project has taken place in Porto every year since 2012. Dedicated to alternative forms of cinematographic expression, the festival places emphasis on the archaeological dimension of images, explored via ethnographic cinema, found footage, experimental cinema and “home movies”. Through its various strands, Family Film Project crosses the boundaries between cinema and other arts and areas of thought. Its programme includes performances, exhibitions, conferences and masterclasses with experts, filmmakers and international artists.
