The Porto in Filme Course, coordinated by Marta Reis, professor and researcher, and Sérgio C. Andrade, journalist and researcher, will cover the history of cinema in the city of Porto and its main protagonists, from the beginnings with Aurélio Paz dos Reis, through the strong era of film clubs, the emergence of film schools, Porto 2001, to the production and exhibition of cinema in the city today. Accompanied by guided tours of some of the most important spaces for the history of cinema in Porto, the course will have several guests who will present different themes on the city’s relationship with cinema.

Schedule: Tuesdays, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm; Saturdays, from 11am to 1pm (8 sessions, 6 guided tours)
