The Porto in FIlm course, coordinated by Marta Reis, professor and researcher, and Sérgio C. Andrade, journalist and researcher, will address the history of cinema in the city of Porto and its main protagonists from the beginnings with Aurélio Paz dos Reis, through the strong era of film clubism, the emergence of film schools, Porto 2001, to the production and exhibition of cinema in the city today. Accompanied by guided tours to some of the most important spaces for the history of cinema in Porto, the course will have as guests António Costa, Eva Ângelo, Germano Silva, Jorge Campos, José Manuel Costa, Luísa Sequeira, Maria do Carmo Serén, Regina Pessoa and Teresa Siza.

Schedule: Tuesdays, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Saturdays, from 11am to 1pm

Sessions: 3, 7, 10, 17, 24, 31 October; 4, 14, 21, 28 November; 5, 12, 19 December
