Directing Workshop for Families: Para, Escuta e Olha! (Stop, Listen and Look!) is a space for discovering and experimenting with cinema as a way of looking at the world and, in particular, the city. Armed with a film camera and a microphone, participants aged 9 to 12 make a short film together in the vicinity of Batalha, having the opportunity to experience the various stages of film production. On a journey through the history of cinema, the children also get to know some of the pioneering names in cinema, learn more about the Lumière brothers' cinematograph and learn how cinema arrived in Portugal by the hand of Aurélio da Paz dos Reis from Porto. The workshop is led by Amarante Abramovici, director, with Lucas Tavares and Ana Carvalho dos Santos.
Recipients: 9–12 years old
