Jacir’s second feature film takes a close look at the personal story of two civilians during the Six-Day War. Following the first attacks, 11-year-old Tarek and his mother Ghaydaa find shelter in a refugee camp in Jordan. With no news of his father, and finding it difficult to accept the depressing reality of the camp, Tarek finds consolation in another camp nearby: run by the Fedayeen guerrilla fighters, who adopt him and show him a path of resistance.
