To be able to pay rent in New York, Christine, a young writer from Michigan, takes a job at the box office of a pornographic cinema near Times Square. Instead of distancing herself from the dark and erotic atmosphere of the place, Christine develops an intense obsession that begins to take hold of her thoughts and her days. A daring and transgressive film that continues to challenge conventions about female sexuality by critically playing with the codes of film noir and voyeurism.
