Over the course of a year, Union follows a group of workers at an Amazon warehouse in New York as they attempt to form a union — the ALU (Amazon Labour Union). To stop the workers’ campaign, Jeff Bezos’s company resorts to disinformation and litigation. However, despite having no funding, the group of activists continue their work and use unconventional methods to gather signatures. The film, which we screen ahead of International Workers’ Day, won a Special Jury Award at Sundance.
