The expressive poems of Alexandre O’Neill are transposed to the big screen in this film by João Botelho, who reimagines Lisbon as a musical dream. Through texts both spoken and sung, we follow a series of chaotic and exciting events that reveal a range of emotions. Um Filme em Forma de Assim invites us to abandon conventional logic and dive into a poetic adventure where the real and imaginary blur together — in a true celebration of artistic freedom.

The screening is preceded by a talk with João Botelho and Rui Lage, and a recitation by Francisca Camelo (poet) and Rui Reininho (musician) — with Portuguese Sign Language.
