Julie is a student at film school. Following a tumultuous relationship, she transforms her heartbreak into art by using her recent life experience as inspiration for her final year project. In an attempt to move on, the young woman deconstructs the toxic situation she lived through and separates fact from fantasy, at the same time as she struggles with the limitations of the independent film industry in London. A story of personal and creative growth, this film continues the story of the semi-autobiographical The Souvenir.
