In a flat in Lisbon, Marta dedicates herself to the care of Clara, her newborn daughter. During this period, she is visited by family and friends who, involved in the intimacy of the home, tell stories about their marriage, the birth of their children, their first jobs, and their future projects — fragments which intertwine with the conjugal life and routines of the mother, whose inner evolution we follow closely.
