It’s the last week of school and Simon should be studying for his exams. His parents have divorced and seem to be waiting for a change that never arrives. Simon is fed up of waiting and hesitates between several possible ways of experiencing freedom. Premiering at the San Sebastián Film Festival and winning the award for Best Director at IndieLisboa, this semi-autobiographical debut feature film by Marta Sousa Ribeiro follows the growth of its principal actor, Simon Langlois, over five years.
