Published by Linha de Sombra, the second book resulting from the À pala de Walsh project brings together a selection of interviews — some unpublished — conducted over more than a decade and published on the cinema website. The collection includes conversations with filmmakers such as the Safdie Brothers, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Ryûsuke Hamaguchi and Mia Hansen-Løve, along with figures from Portuguese cinema, including Miguel Gomes, Vasco Pimentel and Rita Azevedo Gomes. The book also features film critics and thinkers such as Adrian Martin, Alain Bergala, Mark Cousins and Sylvie Pierre. The edition is edited by the members of À pala de Walsh (Carlos Natálio, Luís Mendonça, João Araújo and Ricardo Vieira Lisboa) and has a foreword by Pedro Mexia.
With a presentation by Diogo Costa Amarante (director and film professor) and the editors of À pala de Walsh. Free entrance upon ticket pickup on the same day. Limited to two tickets per person.
