GREENHOUSE is the collective project by Mónica de Miranda, Sónia Vaz Borges and Vânia Gala that is representing Portugal at the 60th International Art Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia. After hosting the project’s satellite programs, Batalha will receive the presentation of the catalog “GREENHOUSE — Art, Ecology and Resistance”. The book interweaves texts from artists, curators, as well as theoreticians concerning themes of ecology, identity, history, and diaspora, in relation to contemporary artistic practices. The launch will be followed by a screening of Weaving Stories, by Mónica Miranda and Sónia Vaz Borges.
