With a screenplay and soundtrack by Daft Punk, Interstella 5555 breathes visual life into Discovery, the second album by the French electronic music duo. In the film, the biggest band in outer space is kidnapped by an evil record executive, brainwashed and transformed into a famous pop band on planet Earth. However, the group’s #1 fan is destined to find and save them. Free of dialogue, the narrative is driven by the majestic animation work and songs like “One More Time”, “Digital Love” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.
