Combining film and television footage with music and interviews, Good Portuguese People sketches the social and political situation in Portugal between 25 April 1974 and 25 November 1975. In 2024, Rui Simões’s documentary was the subject of a book of the same title, with contributions by Helena Morganho Brandão and António Roma Torres, which we present at Batalha before the film is shown.
