In American Traditional War Songs, the artist and indigenous filmmaker Sky Hopinka — cofounder of the COUSIN collective — researches the connection between language and homeland, and the constant shifting in this relationship throughout Indigenous American history. The performance is interpreted in Chinook Jargon and in English, featuring a projection of his film Jáaji Approx. (2015).
