Afrofuturism, as a reconfigurative movement, revisits and questions the past in order to imagine a path towards and Afrocentric future. Assuming a figurative use of the hallmarks of science fiction, both short features in this screening seek to explore the forced fragmentation of a continent, and the possibility of unifying routes.
