A guerrilla film with a dazzling aesthetic and sonic quality, Born in Flames introduces a parallel reality in which a socialist revolution took place in the United States of America in the 1980s. Notwithstanding this paradigm shift, conformity and continue to constrain the lives of a group of women. In this cult film, information and communication technologies are framed as tools for the creation of political reality, ones which feminist direct action can appropriate to redesign the female status when it comes to controlling power.
