Lucia, 10, lives with her family on the shores of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. When her father leaves to work in the big city of El Paz, Lucia, longing for his return, imagines him as an adventurer. Involved in the stories and myths about the lake that separates them, the young girl begins her journey of transition into adolescence. The first feature film by Bolivian Catalina Razzini explores the relationship between Lucia's growing up, marked by living with an ancestral culture, and the challenges of a modernity that involves the tourist exploitation of her culture and community.
