Edward, a young man going through a crisis in his mid-20s, is about to quit his job to go to Africa for a year’s volunteering. His family organise a leaving party on a remote island off the coast of England. Between walks, picnics and bicycle rides in this idyllic setting, old tensions begin to surface.
