In this special session dedicated to the 25th of April Revolution, we will screen Porto 1975 by the artist Filipa César, who will also take part in a conversation-performance with the architect Alexandre Alves Costa. Starting from material filmed in the neighbourhood of Bouça and narrated by the architect, the two will revisit documents from Alves Costa’s personal archive, which includes footage of the SAAL (Local Ambulatory Support Service) programme of the time.
This will also be an opportunity to recover other memories, among them the bomb attacks in Porto and the celebrated television program that brought together perpetrators and victims of the explosions caused during PREC (Ongoing Revolutionary Process). This was the setting in which Alves Costa met Ramiro, maker of the bomb that blew up his car in 1975.
Free entrance upon ticket pickup on the same day, starting at 1pm. Limited to two tickets per person.
