My Little Planet presents a dystopia in which time is measured through the movement of everyday objects around the planet: a cigarette butt, a bottle cap, a sticking plaster. In this sarcastic representation of the Anthropocene, the pace of this dreamlike and humorous film is set by the sounds of a gong and a cuckoo clock. This work criticises the conventions and arbitrariness of norms implemented in society and offers an interesting gesture of galactic speculation.
