In a dilapidated building, Luís sees his best friend being attacked by a group of teenagers. Hidden and unable to defend himself, the young man flees from the brutal attackers who pursue him, and ends up wandering the streets alone, in a fight with himself. The student short film that marked Tomás Paula Marques's debut, Barehanded is a reflection on adolescent affirmation and impotence in the face of violence perpetrated by peers.
