After reacting to a provocation in the classroom, Saulo is expelled from school, but he refuses to leave — enacting a kind of pacificist civil disobedience. Taking inspiration from the Black Panthers in order to raise support for a revolution in the school and neighbourhood, which are both located in the north-eastern state of Ceará, Saulo takes to social media to share his unhappiness with the direction the school is taking, addressing the neglect and loneliness that he and the other students suffer. With this, a veritable student movement gets underway.
