The first film co-directed by Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves, Drop by Drop evokes the true-life story of the Aldeia da Luz – a village that had to be displaced to allow for the building of a giant dam. Combining various animation techniques, including engraving, this short film makes use of audio from several interviews, depicting the resistance of the last inhabitants who refused to be forgotten and abandon their homes.
