Programme:
The titular “memory” is that of the historical leader of the Guinean resistance, Amílcar Cabral. Shot on the Bijagós Islands on the eve of a new year, this documentary provides a reading of the aura surrounding Cabral in close contact with Guinean lives today. Memória won the jury award in the Portuguese section of Doclisboa 2022.
