In 2003, influenced by the film season ‘Cinemas da Índia’ screened by Cinemateca Portuguesa in 1998, Luísa Homem decided to travel to South Asia. Captivated and intrigued by Indian film, and the way these moving images were experienced in and out of the film auditorium, she took with her a Super 8 camera and a friend — violinist Mathieu Werchowski. 20 years later, the filmmaker and musician meet again for a performance that merges musical improvisation with images and sounds captured on the trip.
