Laura Gonçalves returns to her family and hometown of Belmonte. This time, the ritual is that of a lunch in August. At the table, the family shares the fondest memories of her uncle Botão, who emigrated to France during the Estado Novo dictatorship. There, he worked as a rubbish collector — and when he visited in the summer, he always brought little treasures that he found in his collections. The film won the Grand Prize and the Audience Prize at the Animafest Zagreb festival, and was featured on the shortlist for the Academy Awards.
