Inspired by the concept of Tonalli — which, according to ancient Nahua belief, plays a multiplicity of roles, acting as a sign of the day, part of the body and a symbol of the Sun's heat — this film evokes the ritualistic powers of cinema. It summons fire, flowers and multiple moons in a frenetic and mesmerizing collage to the sound of shamanic rhythms.
