The filmmaker’s first feature film follows a group of volunteers taking part in a parapsychological study on telepathy, a capacity which they must develop through sexual exploration. Silent except for a narration that sounds like it was taken from a scientific manual, the film, captured in gorgeous black and white, is an experimental laboratory for the body-mind-technology triptych that runs through almost all of his work.
