A resistance group buries intricate ceramics in the ground — as if they were made by an earlier (fictitious) civilisation. The aim is to influence the historical narrative in support of future claims to their lands. Once unearthed, this crockery will prove the existence of a made-up people. The film blends science fiction, archaeology and politics to explore the role of myth in history, facts and national identity.
