Filmed in Malawi, Lebanon, Brazil, USA, Greece, Indonesia and Uganda, the documentary Bigger Than Us focuses on a young generation that has stood out in the fight for human rights, climate, free expression, social justice, and access to education and food. Following activists between 18 and 25 years old living in all corners of the globe, the work highlights the perseverance and altruism they display in their fight for a cause greater than themselves. An important reflection on what it means to be part of the world, the film was shown at Cannes in 2021.
