Based on an interview held in 2018, less than two years before Mazzetti’s death, this is an intimate portrait of the filmmaker and a reflection on the love and trauma that patterned her life. Made in collaboration with the film historian Henry K. Miller, and drawing on new research, the documentary addresses Mazzetti’s childhood, her dramatic past with her sister Paola and the work she developed at the Slade, evoking the life-giving freedom she encountered as an Art student in post-war London.
