Programme:
Filmed over the course of three years in Pitões das Júnias, Gerês, Cem Raios T'Abram is a collective film made by several Portuguese filmmakers and visual artists. Handmade and shot in 16mm, the film celebrates an ancient pagan culture that uses magic and rituals to understand a place. Accompanying telluric and mysterious images of the mountainous landscape under a blanket of mist, devil women celebrate the freedom of extended time, under the sign of a natural world.
